Smartphone manufacturer Blu has launched the Blu Vivo X smartphone in the US and the smartphone has already been made available by the company via Amazon. The key highlights of the new handset are quad cameras, an octa-core processor, an 18:9 display, and a budget price point. The smartphone has been priced at for $299.99 (roughly Rs. 19,500). However, it is currently discounted down to $249.99 (roughly Rs. 16,300). The Blu Vivo X comes in only one colour variant - Midnight Black.
The dual-SIM Blu Vivo X runs Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box and sports a 6.0-inch Incell HD+ (720x1440 pixels) display with curved Incell glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core SoC clocked up to 2.6GHz.
In terms of optics, the selfie features stand out. Blu Vivo X has a "Super Selfie configuration" at the front. The front camera features a 20-megapixel IMX376 sensor with f/2.0 aperture coupled with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. On the rear end, there is a 13-megapixel lens featuring phase detection, coupled with 5-megapixel depth-sensing lens.
Additionally, the Blu Vivo X's Panorama Selfie gives the camera has the ability to shoot in 120-degrees. A Group Selfie mode and an option to select a soft or bright front-facing flash is also available.
It will be offered in only one RAM/ storage variant - 4GB/ 64GB - by the company. The Blu Vivo X's inbuilt storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, and Hotspot.
The Blu Vivo X packs a non-removable 4010mAh battery that is capable of fast charging in under two hours. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 160x76.8x8.2mm and weighs 188 grams.
